Background
In this video, Gösta Lindwall presents a summary of our research into evidence that points to the existence of an ancient global civilization around 13000 years ago.
It seems likely that such a civilization navigated the seas and built cities along the old coastlines. But what happened to it?
A cataclysmic event 12800 years ago probably wiped out most of the traces of this civilization, notably its coastal settlements.
The period that followed, known as the Younger Dryas, saw a major temperature drop and rising sea levels. This likely resulted in many “Sunken Cities”, most of which still remain to be found.
One may wonder, what would be left of our civilization in the year 14821 if we were to experience a similarly devastating cataclysmic event in the coming months?
